Check your tyre pressure at least once a month, and before any long journeys – and don’t forget to do the spare. This one step is guaranteed to save you fuel and make your car safer.
Use newer tyres for the rear set for extra safety in unforeseen or difficult situations (emergency braking, tight bends etc) particularly on wet surfaces. Numerous tests have shown that it is easier to control the front set than those at the rear.
Always check both the front and the rear tyre sizes when ordering, as for some manufacturers the tyres can be different sizes on each axle.
